Kamera Club
Kaposia is affiliated
with the Twin Cities Area Council of Camera Clubs (TCACCC)
and the North Central Council of Camera Clubs (N4C).
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is
open to all persons with an interest in displaying, competing, or just
talking about photography. The clubs competitions are both in prints
and slides and are optional. Experience ranges from novice to expert.
KKC has chosen
to remain small over the years (20-25 members) holding to the belief
that an intimate relaxed group is more important than a highly charged
and super technical club.
Our dues are $15
per family unit per year.
MEETINGS --
Map
Kaposia meets the
second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from September through May,
from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the South St. Paul High School, 700 2nd Street
North, South St. Paul, MN.
First meeting
of the month (2nd Wednesday):
* Short business
meeting
* Seminar, workshop
or a program presented by one of our members or a member of another
camera club.
* Members submit
their slide or print entries for that month's competition.
Second meeting
of the month (4th Wednesday):
* Short business
meeting
* Presentation
by our guest judge
Judges are recognized
photographers from other camera clubs or art organizations. The photos
entered into competition are judged before the meeting and then critiqued
at the club presentation.
